An Everlasting Love
God's love for us is unimaginable! His affection for us is deep and powerful and unfailing!
Jeremiah 31:3 (NLT)
3 Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have
loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have
drawn you to myself.
He sees you where you are. Whether you are in a valley of despair or climbing a mountain of victory. He's had his eye on you all of your life. Long before you even noticed Him. He's knows everything about you.
He knows what will draw us closer to Him. He orchestrates our lives in ways that help us see our need for Him. He places people in our lives to share truth with us, again, to draw us close to Him.
Psalm 139:1-5 (NLT)
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know
everything about me. 2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my
thoughts even when I’m far away. 3 You see me when I travel and when I
rest at home. You know everything I do. 4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord. 5 You go before me and follow me. You place
your hand of blessing on my head.
His Spirit within us comes alive so that we can receive this amazing everlasting love. So that we can believe in Him and love Him. Then we can overflow with this love and share it with others.
John 1:12 (NLT)
12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he
gave the right to become children of God.
It's crazy how much we are loved. Sometimes I don't think we fully grasp the depth and width of His love. However, every moment we spend basking in His love, we grow. We learn. We love more.
For me, knowing that I'm flawed and He still loves me just the way I am, makes me love Him even more. Why would He love me? Because I'm His daughter. I am His creation. I was made to love Him.
He loves you! You are His child. You are His creation. You were made with love. You are unique. You are beautiful. You are loved.
His love for us was made complete when Jesus died on the cross for our sin. Jesus sacrificed everything because of His incredible and everlasting love for us.
John 3:16 (NLT)
16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Thank You, Lord for loving me with an everlasting love. Teach me to love like you love.
1 John 4:19 (NLT)
19 We love each other because he loved us
first.
Blessings,
Lori
