Sunday Drive - He Is On Our Side

I could sit on the beach for hours watching and listening to the waves crash as the sun rises in the morning. I can't tell you how many photos I have on my camera roll of this. I find it so peaceful and relaxing. It never gets old.

He Is On Our Side

When life is swirling around us and seemingly out of control. We need to take a moment. Listen to the words of our Lord and Savior.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Can't you just hear Him saying... 'Relax, take a breath. I am in control.

Psalms 16:11 (NLT)
11 You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

Psalms 119:105 (NLT)
105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

These verses are as soothing as sitting on the beach watching and listening to the waves coming in and out over the sand. Let them remind you, that He's got you. He is on your side.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our plans. Wasting time and energy trying to figuring everything out. The Word says that He has plans for us. He is preparing the way for you. I love this next verse. It's one of my memory verses.

Psalms 25:4-5 (NLT)
4 Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

He is on your side. He ALWAYS wants what's best for you. We are loved by The God of the universe who sees all and knows all and is ALL.

We may not know what the future holds for us, but we can be confident in who holds our future. Whether we go through hard times or not. He is still on our side. He will never abandon you. We can trust Him.

John 16:33 (NLT)
33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

As we try to look into our unknown future we can relax in the knowledge of who we are. We are His children. We are the ones He loves. We can take the next steps knowing He's got us. He will light the way for us. He is on our side.
