You Are More Than A Conqueror!

Yes, you are! No matter what is happening in your life or in this crazy world, you are victorious! Why? Because Christ was triumphant on the the cross. He sacrificed it all for you! He died and three days later miraculously rose from the grave.

He has made you more than a conqueror, by His unfailing love. You are His child. You are an heir of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Romans 8:37 (NKJV)
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Reading on in Romans....(one of my favorite verses!)

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What does this mean for you? It means that no amount of trouble or struggle can separate you from God. You are never alone. He is ALWAYS there for you, even when you think He's not. I love that last phrase... NOTHING in all creation will ever be able to separate you...!

The problem I see, is that when we are in the midst of a really hard struggle, we focus too much on the struggle. The hardship, the timing, all the problems it presents, why me, why, why, why?

Choosing to trust during the struggle is a struggle. But that's where we find our hope.

Psalms 13:5-6 (NLT)
5 But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. 6 I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me.

Sometimes, we can't see the reason. It's hard... sometimes there's no easy answer.

During those hard times we need to try and remember... His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are higher than ours. He sees things from a much bigger perspective and He knows what we need, when we need it and how.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT)
8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

I find turning on praise and worship will help change the atmosphere around me and it redirects my thoughts away from my struggles and points me to Christ. It also help me remember how much He cares for me.

We need to put all of our trust in Him! He truly loves you. He will rescue you.

Remember who you are in Christ! You are more than a conqueror! You are never alone! You will get through this!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
