Where does your strength come from? Not physical strength... we can build that with dumbbells. I'm talking about inner strength. The kind of strength you need when life hits you with a curveball or when you are in a tough season of life.
Inner strength comes from a strong connection with our heavenly father and it comes right when you need it. Every step you take trusting in Him builds that inner strength.
Philippians 4:13(AMP)
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
When things are tough, it can be easy to fall into the fear trap. But if we keep our eyes on Him and trust in Him, He will strengthen us and see us through.
We can tell Him all the things that are weighing on our minds because He cares for us.
1 Peter 5:7(NLT)
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
He provides the perfect amount of strength for everything He allows in our life. We worry about things that haven't even happened yet... Let's try to stay in the present. His grace is sufficient for the here and now. Let's let God take care of the future.
Psalms 28:7(NLT)
The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Knowing He is able to take care of the present and the future, we can take a deep breath and relax. We can praise and worship Him, finding even more inner strength!
Psalms 63:7(NKJV)
Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
Blessings,
Lori
