When we found this little gem, I always felt that it was kind of camouflaged with all of the trees in the front yard. You can't even see the front window.
The trees were terrible. They left a huge mess everywhere. Not just leaves, but berries landed on any cars parked near them.
The trees had already buckled the sidewalk... not sure what we're going to do about that.
There is so much that we want to do with the exterior of our new home, but we felt one of the first things we wanted to do was have the trees removed.
In order to start the process, I had to petition our local borough to get permission to remove the trees that are within the sidewalk to curb easement. I sent a letter and photos describing why we wanted the trees removed. We were approved. 👏👏👏
I could not wait for the day to come. It ended up snowing on our scheduled day.... Ugh. Oh, well, we rescheduled and were set to go!
The crew came early and got straight to work!
It was fascinating to watch! They mulched all the trees as they came down.
They will be coming back to grind all the stumps down.
What a difference! It's unbelieveable!
After:
Next up.... New roof!
Blessings!
It looks great!! Good idea to remove those trees!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Liberty! It just looks so much cleaner and clearer!
DeleteOh, well... I love trees.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love trees too! In fact the township plans on replanting 2 trees there. And we will probably replant a couple too, just in different places with different trees!:)
