Today, I'm sharing about how to transform disappointments into opportunities.
Everyday something can get in the way of a plan or a desire we might have. These daily disappointments are opportunities for good!
We need to use these disappointments as reminders to talk to our Heavenly Father. This will strengthen and bless our relationship with Him.
Colossians 4:2 (NLT)
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind
and a thankful heart.
It is possible to have joy through difficult situations. When we transform disappointments into opportunities, this dulls and can even take away the sting of the difficulty.
This isn't always easy.... it takes discipline, and time to create this habit. The key is to do this daily with every setback or disappointment, nothing is too small or large for The Lord. He wants us to come to Him with everything!
The enemy of our soul loves to drag us away from The Lord's presence, but we can switch that around and draw even closer to Him instead.
When we yield to the Holy Spirit, and even thank Him for the hard and difficult times, it strengthens us!
Over time, we will learn to accept losses in a positive way. Knowing He holds our future. He holds our lives securely in His mighty hand. We have nothing to fear. We just need to trust Him more!
Philippians 3:7-8 (NLT)
7 I once thought these things were valuable,
but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8 Yes,
everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of
knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything
else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.
