I found 2 super bargains!! The light jacket, I found on clearance at Ross' Dress For Less. One of my favorite stores!! Then I found those shoes on clearance at Walmart! What?!! You know I love a good bargain!! 😍
Today's devotions is on rejoicing! I was definitely rejoicing about my bargain finds! 😉
No matter what is going on in your life you can find a reason to rejoice! Did you wake up breathing? Did you get dressed? Did you have breakfast? Rejoice! You're alive, you have clothes, you have food to eat. I bet you also, had a closet you picked your clothes from and a kitchen to cook your breakfast in.
It's the little things! We have to so much to rejoice about! This is the secret of being content.
Phillipians 4:12 (NIV)Do you dream about the day when you will finally be happy? The thing is, there will always be something to deal with. We need to learn to be content where we are.
Hubby and I talk about this.... There was a time in our marriage where we really struggled financially and we've also had times where we've done well financially. But our happiness didn't depend on that. In fact, we remember some of those days, when we struggled, as some of our best times together.
Jesus is the reason we were content. We knew He would take care of us, and He did! It taught us that we have so much to rejoice about.
Let's find reasons to rejoice! Rejoice right now!
