This photo was taken about 1 year ago, visiting my daughter and son in-law down in Virginia. We had to cancel our trip to go see them the other week. Oh, how I miss my family right now. And as soon as this crisis has passed, and it WILL pass, we will definitely be taking a trip! 😍
Plus... that beautiful young woman, just had a birthday the other day!! I can't believe my baby girl is 27! I had her at 27! The years fly by.....
I really love that outfit! It's one of my favorites for spring and summer. What's funny is I bought that jumpsuit with my daughter on one of our shopping trips to Old Navy. It has pockets and everything! I also love those sandals, I picked up on clearance at Target... maybe 2 years ago and they have held up incredibly!
The title of today's post is.... He Protects and He Restores.
Psalm 91(NLT)
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.

This is a powerful chapter. We know from this scripture that He will protect us. Does that mean nothing bad will ever happen to us? No, not at all. But being under the shadow of the Almighty, is the safest place to be! His promises are my security.
I am confident that nothing surprises God. He is in complete control and if I should go through something... anything... It's because He has allowed that for me.
I also believe, that if he allowed it, then He is faithful to help me through it. I can trust Him. For one, The Word says I can, and two, He's already brought me through so much in my life, that there is no doubt in my mind, He will continue to be there for me.
These are trying times right now in our nation. Yet, I will still choose to trust Him to protect me and my family. I also believe that He will restore us. We will get through this.
