Bangs!

Hmmm... Lori, how ya feeling about those new bangs??

I just crack myself up! 😂😂😂

Why in the world is "BANGS" such a big deal? Well, I guess it just is... I've had bangs most of my life.  It's only in the last 2 years or so that I haven't. 

It's kind of a love/hate thing.... Love that I can pull all my hair back into a pony tail, especially on the super hot summer days! No bangs is pretty easy to style. But here's the thing...

As I've gotten older... just turned 51 a couple of weeks ago! 😲 (Ahhh!) Age spots... wrinkles... thinner skin. Yeah all that.  Plus I've got this one vein that likes to pop right down the middle of my forehead. 😜 It's just not pretty. I've gone back and forth on this bang thing, for forever. (At least it feels like it!) 

So, I'm gonna do it.

Here's me... plain, no make up, just me. This is what I look like 90% of the time. I really don't wear make up all that much, only a couple of times a week.

So, here we go... I'm gonna do it...Yep, I'm gonna do it! Kinda scared....  Thank goodness my hairdresser puts up with me, she knows how I am. She's terrific! Big shout out to Nikki! 😊

I've kinda been a barber, not licensed, just 'on the Q.T' for YEARS! I've cut boys hair since I was in high school. I used to cut hubby's (now he's bald 😊) and my son's. Now I only cut my nephew's.

I literally stood there holding that for practically 10 minutes! What's the deal, Lori! Just do it!

Whew! Now let's get on with it!

Okay, I just gotta say something.... I don't know what the deal is. I've suffered from Rosacea for YEARS!! I usually always have red bumps and pustules on my cheeks and nose area.  But in the last month it has mostly disappeared!! Thank you, Lord! I haven't had skin this clear in soooo long.... 😁

Styled. Uh... looking a little thin. 

So, I cut a bit more. Getting there.

This was my inspiration. If you don't follow Kate @ thesmallthingsblog, you should. I've read her blog for years! She just cut her bangs and I loved them so much, I knew I just had to do it!

Yep! I'm keeping them! So glad I cut them!
