I'm still playing around with the camera on manual mode. These didn't seem to come out as well. It's a learning process.
This is a new sweater I just picked up last week. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. It just looks like fun! I picked it up at Kohls with my 30% off coupon plus at $10 off of $10 coupon. I picked up a few other things too. :) This is one of the scarves I found at Wally World, they were 2 for $4.97, not bad. I might even try to make some. They are so simple.
And because, it's getting colder and colder... I have to have a cardigan.
My nephew and his sweet family were up to visit this weekend! I love spending time with family! It seems the older I get the more important it is becoming. I'm counting the days til my kiddos are home. 4 days til my daughter is here and 6 days til my son is! I can't wait!
The Faithfulness Of God Is Perfect!!
God loves us despite our constant bent towards sin. I love what our pastor said, that we can't make God love us less or love us more. He loves us all and all of us the same. Can we even comprehend that? Our God is slow to anger, and full of grace and mercy.
Exodus 34:6 NLT
Yahweh! The Lord!
The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
Our church will be going through a time of transition and we need to remember how faithful God has been to us and that He will always be there for us, too!
Lamentations 3:22,23 NLT
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
We need to be faithful to Him, faithful not only in the big things, but the little things. To learn to listen to His voice, to be obedient to Him. Are we going to care more about what we want or what He wants? Pastor shared this quote with us and I feel it very simply sums it up.
"Faith and obedience are bound up in the same bundle. He that obeys God trusts God; and he that trusts God obeys God. He that is without faith is without works; and he that is without works is without faith." --Charles H. Spurgeon
