Dollar Tree Pizza Pan Tray

I updated this post because the old one really wasn't my style anymore, but it's still a great project!

This was the old project....  I basically did the same thing.  I first spray painted the whole pan. Then did a stencil on it.

I wanted to turn the new Dollar Tree Pizza Pan into a serving tray.  So, I picked up some handles at our local mission, it's like a thrift store.

Of course, I used my favorite primer and spray paint!  Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Primer and Paint.

The old handles also got a coat of primer and paint in black.

For this Dollar Tree Pizza Pan, I thought a stripe of black would be a nice simple touch.  I measured a 3"strip and taped it off with painter's tape.  

Then I spray painted that area with black paint.  Be sure to remove the tape right after you paint it.  Take it off when the paint's wet. 

After it dried, I did a quick coat of Rust-Oleum Clear Coat.

The last thing to do was to attach the handles.  I drilled 2 holes for each handle.

That's it!  Such a quick and easy project! The possibilities are endless, there are so many ways you could paint this simple pizza tray.

I decided to set it by my coffee pot.
